Foresters of America Lodge Hall

View Map

This building is where the Foresters of America fraternal organization built their lodge in the new Neo-Classical Style used for important public and commercial buildings. Its dignified styling lent stature to the proceedings of the organization. Inside in addition to meeting rooms, hat check rooms, and big kitchens, the lodge had a stage and large maple dance floor. The building was designed to serve as a social and recreational center for the town and it served as the town's primary community center for fifty years.
