The plot contains the most elaborate monument in the cemetery. The arched gateway was made of Red Swede Granite in Scotland and was shipped around Cape Horn. The base is of Quincy (Vermont) granite. In 1897 the tombstone represented the most original design and expert construction of any West Coast monument. There are ten members of the McEvoy-Lloyd families buried at this plot. These two families were joined when Patrick McEvoy married Elizabeth Lloyd in 1877. Jane Lloyd, Elizabeth's mother, was the first to be buried here in 1891 and Patrick McEvoy and his wife, Elizabeth, were buried here in 1923 after a tragic accident when they were run over by a motor vehicle.
